We are the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee – An organization inspired by the timeless power of sport to create a universal language that promotes peace and unity. We are excited for everyone to learn more of what we do.
Our primary goal is to develop and protect the Olympic Movement in Zimbabwe in alignment to the guidance provided in the Olympic Charter. As an umbrella sports organisation, we have 32 National Federations affiliated to us on a voluntary basis and have coordinated and organised Zimbabwe’s representation at a number of International Sports Competitions.
We Personify Olympism and Excellence
We Advance the Olympic Movement, Lead and Facilitate the Development of High Performance Sport, Ensuring Quality Performance at the Games and other International Sport Competitions.
Teams under the guidance of the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee have participated in both the Commonwealth and Olympic games since 1980. Medals have been attained at all the Commonwealth Games that Zimbabwe participated in, as well as at two of the Olympic Games.
